Designer's Notes

A tight budget for the countertop gave rise to the idea of 24-inch square porcelain tiles with tiny 1/8-inch grout lines. The edge is a brushed aluminum countertop edging from Schluter (material cost of edging: $70). Glass tiles from Waterworks are four shades of green to play off of the citron wall paint colors.
