Empty Above-Ground Basement

Delvin and Eleanor Litman have been married for 36 years, have three children (one of whom still lives at home) and were drawn to a large, traditional home in the suburbs of Baltimore. An open floor plan and ample space makes it a perfect home for entertaining guests and hosting family holidays, but their 2,000-square-foot above-ground basement feels too big for daily use. They hope a professional designer can turn this enormous space into a place their family and friends can enjoy many different pursuits.
