Feminine-Meets-Masculine Bedroom

Dwayne and Julia Pipkins aspired to do more with their master bedroom but haven't found inspiration so they're looking to student designer Kate Partin to redo this massive space. Partin plans to make the setting more like a retreat by painting the walls light green with chocolate trim. A custom duvet incorporating the wall color, nightstands, frosted window doors in an unusual location, a mantel over the bed and a new padded headboard are all part of Partin's big plans to completely change the room.
