When designer Todd Glaser designed the master bathroom in his Miami beach house, he used contemporary lines, iridescent materials and lots of glass to give the space an open and airy feel.

What could say "beach contemporary" more than this very cool, blue-tiled master bath? Anchoring the room is natural hardwood flooring that runs throughout the second floor of the home and continues into the master bath.

The homeowner wanted to be able to see the beach and the bay from the master bathroom, so he used clear glass walls on the sides of the shower to keep the view open to the outdoors and the rest of the master suite. The unique shower has a rainfall and a hand-held shower head, making it as versatile as it is eye-popping.

It's the metallic-blue mosaic tile that really sets this sexy design apart, chosen because of the way its iridescence matches the stainless-steel tile on the sink backsplash.
