Traditional Brick House in Statesboro, Ga.

When the Skippers were relocating to Statesboro, Ga., from Dayton, they counted on agent Patricia Hirsch to do much of the legwork for them. Her efforts paid off, and she found them what will be their ninth home. It is where they hope to retire.

Exterior

ERA agent Patricia Hirsch was able to fulfill almost every want on her client's wish list. They wanted a home in an established neighborhood surrounded by mature trees. This brick traditional did the trick.

Garage

The home's separate garage fulfilled the Skippers' need for a three-car garage.

Entryway

To the left of the entry is the formal dining area.

Dining Room

Flanked by two columns, the formal dining room fulfilled one of Lt. Col. Skipper's main must-haves.

Living Room

As a military family, the Skippers have moved nine times. Since they want this to be their retirement home, it was important to find a living room to take them through the years.

Kitchen

The home's kitchen opens up to a living space so the whole family can socialize while Mrs. Skipper cooks.

Kitchen

The kitchen provides access to a formal dining room, which was on the top of Lt. Col. Skipper's wish list.

Master Bedroom

The secluded master suite provides the Skippers the privacy they told their agent they desired.

Bath

Heather Skipper, a school teacher, was thrilled that she got herself a garden soaker tub out of the deal.

Double Vanity

The double vanity was also a bonus score for the Skippers.

Bedroom

The Skippers wanted four bedrooms, and agent Pat Hirsch managed to make that happen for them.

Kid's Bedroom

The kids' bedrooms are large enough to see the Skipper children through to high school, which was also a must-have.

Back Patio

A place for entertaining guests as well as their children was on the Skipper's wish list.
