- 10-inch embroidery hoop

Determine Hoop Placement
Place the outer hoop on the globe and adjust placement so the opening is tilted slightly upward and the globe feels equally weighted on either side (Image 1). (This is important so that it hangs correctly.) Once you have it just so, mark on the glass with a pen (Image 2).

Secure With Glue
Remove the hoop and add a thin line of hot glue at the base of hoop (Image 1), then stretch it open and place it back on the bowl in the correct position (Image 2). Add glue to the top of the hoop on both sides (Image 3), then press into place, making sure to line up with the pen marks (Image 4). Allow the glue to cool, then trim away any excess with a utility knife.

Add Twine
Thread twine through the embroidery hoop’s hardware (Image 1), then tie off securely, leaving enough twine to hang (Image 2).

Add Bird Seed
Once you’ve hung the bird feeder, gently hold the bottom and place bird seed inside. Be careful not to overfill!
