Incorporate Wedding Colors

"The chuppah, a Jewish wedding canopy with four open sides and four poles, is a central part to every Jewish wedding," says Cigall Goldman, founder of Mazelmoments.com, a website full of resources for Jewish events. For this chuppah, NYC's Swank Productions created flower panels of yellow bottom mums for the backdrop, which complemented the couple's yellow-and-orange wedding theme.

Mirror The Venue

"The chuppah represents the home you will make with your partner and it is where couples say vows and become a family," Goldman says. Made of branches, organza and lush greenery from New York's In Full Bloom, this chuppah fit seamlessly into its surroundings.

Crystal Ideas

White fabric creates a neutral palette for trails of white and purple flowers accented with long strands of crystals.

Playing Favorites

For this Tuscan-themed wedding, a traditional chuppah was flanked with potted ferns—the bride's favorite plant.

Fairy Tale Chuppah

Dendrobium orchids, white hydrangea, spray and garden roses give this chuppah an airy, romantic look.

Fall In Love

James Abel Events created a fall feel for this rustic chuppah with burlap, sunflowers and grapevines.

Have A Ball

Not all flowers cling to the chuppah's edge: Pomanders of fresh red roses are hung at varying lengths in this design.

Branch Out

In lieu of flowers, this couple chose Manzanita branches to create the look of their chuppah.

Frond Memories

Palm fronds make a beautiful backdrop for the chuppah at this Hawaiian paradise-themed wedding.

Simply Stunning

With the sky and sea behind them, this couple chose a simple chuppah with white chiffon and a few small clusters of white hydrangeas and white roses to accent the view.

Cherry Blossom Chuppah

Lined with rows of cherry blossoms in bloom, NYC's Swank Productions helped this chuppah give an outdoor feel to this indoor Latin-chic wedding.

Dream Wedding

A simple chuppah gets a dreamy look with floating star lilies created by NYC's Swank Productions.

Modern Meets Nature

NYC's Ariston Flowers used curly willow and orchids for this stunning chuppah, designed to match the modern feel of the downtown New York venue. Interested in making your own chuppah? Check out this video to find out how to create a chuppah on a budget.
