High ceilings were utilized by builders to create a cozy loft in the great room with plenty of space for quiet work or casual hangouts.

Plum painted custom millwork with blue tie-ins and traditional furniture provide a unique and inviting farmhouse style room to make guests feel comfortable and at home. “Purple is a really hard color to work with, but plum is purple with just enough brown in it to make it a little more on the new neutral side,” says interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn.

“The overall design approach for the master suite was to double the way it could be used,” explains interior designer Brian Patrick Flynn. “It opens onto the back deck, making the size of the room double by carrying the same color scheme from inside to the adjacent outdoor space.”
