Warmer hues and rustic textures envelope this teenage bedroom, making the space feel youthful and inviting. For homeowners' without kids, "this bedroom can be a teen room or an adult room, "explains interior designer Linda Woodrum.

Various gray tones and types of wood textures makes the space feel cozy and contemporary. With clean lines and rustic textures, the queen-sized bed offers casual styling with a modern twist.

A custom-built window seat provides extra storage and style. "The idea behind the daybed was to have more space for friends to hangout," says interior designer Linda Woodrum.

This boy's bedroom features built-in bookshelves and a hip, striped accent wall. The oversized window seat provides a place for reading, playing video games or just day-dreaming.

The bedside lamp's twisted loops of rope add an artistic and whimsical touch. To wake up energized, the smart sleep station features weather forecast capabilities and custom alarm settings.

Part masculine in style, part practical place to sleep, this teenage retreat can serve many functions. "The bedroom has some identity, but still remains gender-neutral," says interior designer Linda Woodrum.

A rustic nightstand serves as a display surface for a vintage industrial lamp and reading materials.

The idea for this funky wall was a collaborative effort from the design team. "We wanted to really go crazy behind the headboard," says interior designer Linda Woodrum. Painting boards in complementary hues highlights the bed and creates an eye-catching focal point.

To provide more space at the end of the bed, a clever alcove was carved out to house a dresser and flat-screen TV.

With clean lines and plenty of clever storage, the HGTV HOME Voyage dresser in this kid's bedroom includes a flip-down media drawer for cable box or components, jewelry tray and cedar-lined bottom drawers.

Engineered hardwood flooring and a plush shag-style rug incorporate style and comfort into the room.

A desk fan, mimicking a 1940s antique, makes a connection to the home's overall vintage-design approach.

The queen-sized bed is dressed with lightweight bedding, including hotel-quality linens, a coverlet and a cozy gray blanket.

An eight-drawer dresser offers plenty of storage and style. Mahogany veneers and contemporary hardware give this traditional furnishing a modern edge.

From streaming music to watching TV, everything in the kids' room is controlled via tablet or smartphone.

Two fox prints add "the right orange," says interior designer Linda Woodrum. "They're a little whimsical and cute."

This friendly fox livens up a kid's room with color and personality.

Custom shelving built into the window seating serves as a perfect spot for storing toys, socks, and smaller items.

Wire baskets are a terrific way to organize shelves, providing rustic storage for displaying baseballs and sports equipment.

A high ceiling follows the roofline of the home, making the space look bigger.

For a local-inspired touch, this Nashville sign features distressed black lettering printed pops against a white background.

The HGTV HOME Voyage Dresser takes center stage in this teen bedroom with clean linear lines and Mahogany veneers. As a tribute to the home's location, a Nashville sign features distressed black lettering against a white background.

A custom-built closet system featuring floor-to-ceiling shelving and rods for hanging clothes, keeps clutter under control.

The entryway into this bedroom suite is located at the top of the stairs, and conveniently close to the kids' den a few steps away.
