Kid-Tastic Spaces: Peter Rabbit-Themed Twins' Nursery

Their mom's love of Peter Rabbit influenced the contemporary design of this nursery for twin boys. A wallpaper accent wall adds color and dimension, while custom bunny art and stuffed animals soften the space. A sofa provides a convenient spot for feedings, with a nearby bookcase helping keep books, knickknacks and toys organized.

Soft But Masculine Peter Rabbit Nursery

The design of this nursery incorporates a masculine feel for the twin boys while still maintaining a soft aesthetic. For the concept of the room, designers channeled Mom's love for Peter Rabbit and added special touches with a wall decal and hand-painted bunny silhouettes.

Wallpaper Accent Wall in Boys' Nursery

To create the perfect backdrop for the cribs, designers added a wallpaper accent wall. This touch adds dimension and masculinity to the space.

Soft, Masculine Boys' Nursery

A custom wall decal over the sofa, as well as a soft, blue rug and several plush bunnies creates a unique, soft feel to this masculine nursery.

Layered Lighting Keeps Nursery Bright

Although the nursery gets lots of natural light, the space has minimal overhead lighting, so designers added layered lighting with a floor lamp by the crib and a table lamp on the end table next to the sofa.

Bookshelves Add Storage and Display Space

Bookshelves in the corner of the space house knick knacks and books that complement the soft feel of the nursery. At the base of the shelves, drawers add storage to the space.

Personal Touches Finish Off the Family's Nursery Space

To make the space even more personal for the family, designers filled the shelves with family photos, favorite books and knick knacks to really make the space their own.
