Bright Eat-In Kitchen With Crisp White Cabinetry

The kitchen accommodates seating for three at the island as well as the small dining area for four. Crisp white cabinets paired with very dark flooring creates a beautiful contrast in the space.

Breakfast Room Features African Chandelier

Habachy Designs wanted to create depth through texture. The chandelier is made from natural Nguni cow horn in Africa, the table is made of solid wood and clad in antique brass and textured. The dining chairs have a clean, modern silhouette but are slipcovered to give a more casual look. The atom bowl holding succulents is made of iron and hand-crafted which gives it more character. Accessories throughout the space are artifacts and imported pieces from Africa and Asia. The vintage lion door knocker was an accessory that was found, custom mounted and had a stand built specifically to showcase the piece on the mantel.

Living Area Features Custom Carved Wood Table With Marble Top

The carved wood table that serves as a coffee table is hand-crafted by an artist of the trade. It is a custom Habachy Designs collection piece and tapers upwards to an inset Silver Portoro marble top. A pair of neutral armchairs and a plush chaise complete the stylish design.

Custom Chaise Lounge

The chaise lounge is a custom Habachy Designs collection piece which is inspired by Oriental architecture. It offers a cozy place to relax with a good book (or two).

Light & Airy Great Room

The carved wood table is hand-crafted by an artist of the trade. It is a custom Habachy Designs collection piece and tapers upwards to an inset Silver Portoro marble top and kerfed edge detail. The custom chaise lounge designed by Habachy Designs is inspired by oriental architecture, and the custom designed dining table, also by Habachy Designs, is a light gray oak wash that centers the great room with an understated presence.

Oak Sideboard With Beveled Face

The sideboard and dining table are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The sideboard cabinet is made of oak, and the beveled face is cut for inset bronze glass mirrors. The base of the cabinet is brass-finished, and the surprise is the interior cabinet which is a beautiful lacquer red.

Oval-Shaped Living Area With Worldly Decor

The area rug, as well as the lounge chairs, are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The oval shape of the space posed a challenge, so the rug was made to accommodate the design. African and Asian decor throughout the home add a worldly touch.

Worldly and Globally Inspired Great Room

The goal was to give the home a worldly and globally inspired feel so new custom designs, textural fabrics and finishes were incorporated along with Asian and African artifacts and antiques. Habachy Designs imagined the occupants of this home as well-traveled, and the objects in the home were artifacts and cherished tokens of their trips around the world. The area rug, as well as the lounge chairs, are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The great room was an expansive, extended oval, and it posed a challenge as to how to divide the room into separate living spaces. In order to emphasize the curvature of the architecture, Habachy Designs mimicked the shape in the tone-on-tone rug. This allowed for a focal area and living space to be created that would be harmonious with the entirety of the great room.

Bright & Airy Master Bedroom

The bedside cabinets and master bed are custom pieces designed by Habachy Designs. The bed has a sophisticated, channeled headboard with wood trim. Even in a neutral and white space, warmth was created through the mixture of old and new. There is a big mix of vintage pieces with new designs. The vintage desk chair is brass and zebra hide and phenomenally crafted with its skinny, curved and tapered legs.

Master Bedroom in Neutral and White

Even in a neutral and white space, warmth was created through the mixture of old and new furnishings and accessories. The master bedroom serves as a multipurpose space with a cozy seating area and work space by the window.
