Well, Hugh Hefner’s place needs a makeover. I’m just sayin'!

Where do you get your inspiration?
From everything I see, hear and touch.

When designing, what can't you live without?
Food and music. It's a Cajun thing.

What are your most creative hours of the day?
In my sleep. Seriously — I keep a journal by my bed.

What do you think is the worst design trend?
Do not paint a faux brick or stone. If that is what you want, go natural and do it right.

What's one thing about you that would surprise people?
I have a twin brother.

Where's the farthest you've ever traveled from home?
New York City. I got a chance to explore the greatest museums and buildings in the world, including the rooftop of the World Trade Center a year before 9/11.

What's your guilty pleasure?
Chocolate

What's your most unusual talent?
I have the great ability to embarrass myself and my wife wherever we go.
