Pink Palace Bedroom

Welcome to Mike and Stacy Umann’s home, where everything is black, white and gray. Their thirteen-year-old daughter Ashley is a rebel in a desperate search of color for her drab bedroom. Interior designer Kristan Cunningham, along with design coordinators Dave Sheinkopf and Spencer Anderson, break Ashley out of her colorless prison with the help of some hot pink walls, new seating and better storage solutions. The Design on a Dime team transforms Ashley’s bedroom while expanding her parents’ colorwheel beyond their black and white borders, all for under $1,000.
