Childhood friends and travel buddies, Cyndi Kim and Julie Jo, have been roommates for almost a year. They have very different styles and have asked the Design on a Dime team to bring their tastes together as well as incorporate various art and textiles they've collected on their journeys. Spencer Anderson makes order of their obvious shoe clutter problem. As renters, Kim and Jo would prefer not to paint, so the team must add color and unity to the living room in other ways. Dave Sheinkopf shops for a vintage table and host Kristan Cunningham creates a feature wall with paint. The team brings the room and the friends together for under $1,000.
