Michael Jeter and Rebecca Johnson’s home office doesn’t work. Their room is overwhelmed with a wicker bed and an upheaval of electronic equipment. They want a space with a hip, smooth style that is both a functional office and relaxing guest room. Interior designer Kristan Cunningham and design coordinators Dave Sheinkopf and Spencer Anderson plan to maximize the space, take out the existing furniture, add a dash of soothing color and do everything they can to fit two people, two workstations and the occasional overnight guest comfortably. The Design on the Dime team is somehow able to instill order and tranquility to equipment chaos, all for under $1,000.
