Confession time: I'm obsessed with making wreaths. Not only do the finished projects look great in my home and on my front door, but they also make lovely, much-welcomed gifts for friends and family. I mean, I wouldn't complain if someone gave me this farmhouse-inspired eucalyptus wreath for the holidays:

Learn how to make a greenery garland and wreath in just a few easy steps.

So gorgeous, right? Normally I make my holiday garland and wreaths from traditional winter greenery (like spruce or cedar) because they smell amazing and will typically last throughout the season in cold temperatures. But this year, I decided a wreath made from trendy greens, such as eucalyptus and Italian ruscus, would make an unexpected, soft-hued addition to my holiday party decor. And because I'm totally in love with the farmhouse look right now, I trimmed my finished garland and wreath with a handful of snowy, rustic cotton stems.

Don't you just love this fresh, festive holiday project? Not only is crafting your own super easy, but once you're done using it as a garland, you can transform it into something new by simply wrapping it around a wreath form and adding a few embellishments. But do keep in mind that although eucalyptus is lovely, it doesn't last as long out of water as traditional winter greens, so you'll want to craft this beauty the day before or day of your party.
