Citrus: The Fresh (Squeezed!) Style for Spring

We've got all the juicy details.

Per the shade thrown by fictional fashion editor-in-chief, Miranda Priestly in The Devil Wears Prada, I think we can all agree that floral prints for spring are less-than groundbreaking at this point. Floral patterns were less-than for Miranda P. in 2006 and a decade and some change later, we're still not convinced.

What print is giving our long-beloved, fresh-cut blooms the boot? That'd be fresh-squeezed citrus, my friends. Lemon-print this, clementine-colored that. Fruity finds are all the rage and taking over the design world, one vibrant print at a time.

I've rounded up a fresh batch of my citrus favorites — all of which are guaranteed to get you in gear for the warmest months of the year.

Use hand-poured candles that feature this timely trend throughout your space. I'm adding scents from DW Home to my wish list this spring. The 'Neroli + Lime' scent boasts a blend of lime, bergamot, neroli and jasmine. An equally captivating scent, the 'Grapefruit + Sage' candle uses the sweet, citrus scent with subtle sage and ginger notes to freshen up a space. Bonus? The candle jars feature funky designs that will make adorable storage long after the candle has melted.
