Most of us remember the '80s with a fondness as we see it receding in the rearview mirror. Ah, the big hair, the peach and teal accent pillows, the white leather sofas! Well for our dear Meg Allan Cole, the '80s aren't long ago and far away, a Miami-scented memory. They are her current inspiration. See if you agree that there is something to be taken from the classic Memphis Design school that is inspiring her this week.

And I think I accidentally set off a design controversy when I call the end to a particular color that I find so vexing. See if I make it on to your naughty list with this one:
