Designer Lee Snijders shows you how to create great candlesticks.

Steps:

1. Cut a piece of 4" x 4" wood to the desired size. Create candlesticks in multiple sizes for a contemporary candlescape.

2. Sand wood to a smooth finish and apply an ebony stain.

3. Hammer a nail to the top, clip off the nailhead and secure a candle to the top.
