Hide CaptionShow CaptionNatural elements and wine country colors fill the homeowners' new living room.
Wine country colors are typically sun-drenched colors, like ochre, orange and green, like the colors in Kathleen's favorite necklaces. So, the biggest wall in the dining area is painted golden green, and the living room walls are painted tan. Also, it's important to use natural elements in a wine country makeover, so David incorporates lots of natural woven baskets, pottery accents and cream-colored linen curtains. A new brown leather sofa has ochre and olive throw pillows to tie in the color scheme. And an olive green rug ties in with the green focal wall in the dining room and around the fireplace.
