Interior designer Chayse Dacoda creates a plan that will meet both of their needs. The walls get a textured linen finish in neutral brown, but are still dramatic because of the dark color. She also changes the focal point of the room by moving the TV and bringing the furniture closer to the center of the room to create an intimate comfortable space. To make it even more intimate, she closes the room off from the dining room with a partial wall and curtains in rich fabrics. Since Leandra hates the lead window, they change it into a pass-through to the kitchen.
