Host Joan Kohn visits Sally Menesis’ classic 1800s Victorian home, which was updated to include a new master suite fashioned from several smaller rooms.

An addition over the kitchen added space with a large bay window that was used for the new bath.

The master bedroom gets a warm, romantic feel from floral textiles, a trellis pattern wallpaper, creamy colors, soft lighting and wood flooring.

The bedroom borrowed space from an adjacent small bedroom when a wall was knocked out. The former bath was converted into a hall leading to the new bathroom and a large walk-in closet.
Mismatched antiques are used throughout the bedroom to take the newness out of the room.
