After meeting with all the designers, Longwell selects Michelle Verdigets's plan for her space. With a budget of $25,000, excluding electronics, Verdigets restores Victorian elements to the entry and parlor without sacrificing modern comforts. After having her old furniture reupholstered and adding some new pieces, refinishing the fireplace and making a little Louisiana lagniappe from the old wood in the house, Longwell is ready to entertain her friends again.
