Host Brooke Channon and designer Linda Applewhite work together to re-create the look of Applewhite’s Inspiration Room. Applewhite used a combination of European and Turkish antiques and bold punches of color to create this designer look.
Guest designer Linda Applewhite helped direct the transformation of the bland living room into a vibrant and whimsical space by taking the following steps:
- Added a golden color wash (1 part water, 3 parts Benjamin Moore Suntan Yellow paint ) to the walls to create a rustic Mediterranean feel to the room.
- Placed a French-inspired sofa with carved wooden detail and decorated it with bold throw pillows.
