Hide CaptionShow CaptionAfter 10 years, it's time to update this country living room. It's the family's "comfort" room for socializing and relaxing but they're ready to make it even more inviting for themselves. All About
Hosts Matt Fox and Shari Hiller have their work cut out for them with this lived in, well-used family room that's worn out and ready for an update. After meeting with the homeowner, Mark Carlisle, to get some direction, they'll need to choose new furniture, wall colors, handmade ottomans and the right accessories to make this a successful transformation.
Stark white walls, the lack of window treatments and competing focal points (the fireplace and TV are on opposite walls) are some of the challenges the homeowners would like to address.
