Steps:
1. Draft a paper mock-up of the block pattern to use as a visual aid for piecing blocks together.
2. Label fabric swatches with letter code and indicate the code on the bottom of the mock-up pattern.
3. Allow for fabric adjustments. As fabric pieces are assembled on the mock up pattern, one block of a certain fabric may prove insufficient to accentuate the block design. Make adjustments as needed.

A-43; B-15; C-7; D-4; E-4; F-10; G-9; H-7; I-5; J-3; K-1; L-1
Sewing
1. Stitch cut strips together to make one each of Strip Sets 1 through 12. Note: There is no #7 Strip set.2. Press all seams in odd numbered strip sets down and all seams in even numbered strip sets up.

1. seven Chain blocks
2. eight Trip blocks
3. three left-Half Chain blocks
Stitching blocks
1. Sew blocks into block rows 1 and 2.
2. Press seams toward the chain blocks.
3. Sew rows together (beginning and ending) with Block Row 1 to make the quilt top.
Inner borders
1. Measure the quilt to establish the inner border width.
2. Cut the border strips 1-1/2-inches wide across the width of the fabric.
3. Piece strips together to achieve the desired length.
Outer borders
1. Measure the quilt to establish the outer border length.
