Double Ladder Shelving

Sasha Andreev shows Joan Steffend some great ideas for utilizing old step ladders.

Two step ladders are painted black and then bi-fold closet doors are laid across to create a shelving unit. This is a no-construction project; no fasteners or tools are needed.

Single Ladder Shelving

Cutting boards are attached to the rungs of a ladder to make a unique bookshelf. The cutting boards are screwed onto the side of the ladder so the screws are less visible.

Ladder Table

A small step ladder is transformed into a side table when a grate is attached to the top. The two pieces are held together with a couple of screws and washers.
