Copper coin bank lamp

Trash-to-treasure expert Robb Whittlef says you can create lamp bases out of copper coin banks, birch logs and an old enamel water cooler by simply converting the objects into bases by drilling through the center.

He says to use a metal drill bit on metal objects then attach the electrical components (available at a hardware store).
