Trash To Treasure: Dressing Bench, Tables, Key Rack
Decorating Cents : Episode DCT-1806 -- More Projects »
An old pool cue rack is transformed into a child's dressing area with just a few materials. Replace the notched wood piece (where the sticks would have rested) with a straight piece of wood and add schoolhouse hooks to the underside. Upholster the bottom with batting and fabric to create a bench seat.
Turn a doll crib into a simple side table. Cut off the legs and place the piece upright. Add a shelf to the center and add a pane of glass cut to the size of the top.
Create a baseball-themed table using old wooden bats and a round tabletop. Attach three bats with screws to serve as the base. Purchase a wooden round at a home store or cut your own out of plywood or medium density fiberboard. Attach to the baseball leg base. Paint the tabletop white and create the "stitching" with red paint.
