The homeowners call their dark and dated den "the dungeon" and even think the paneling emits an odor so it's definitely due for a redo. They want it lightened up and more comfortable as they spend lots of time in the space.
Student designer Christy Akers plans to redesign Pat and Jack's den by removing the dark paneling off and painting the walls yellow, covering the sofa, creating an elegant cranberry armoire and adding lots of other creative elements.
