Originally, the apartment had a postage-stamp-size kitchen with heavy, steel cabinets and little counter space. Now the kitchen extends the full length of the apartment and offers ample cabinets and counters. To break up the heaviness of the wood cabinets, two sets of frosted glass doors were centrally placed. The cork flooring is a great choice for a kitchen because it is easy to clean, is easy on the feet and knees and absorbs sound.
