Textured Neutral Bedroom

Host/designer David Bromstad meets homeowners Meg Gamble and Kaan Etem, who tell him that they have an eclectic style and like clean, simple lines. The bed is plain with no headboard, and Meg specifically requests one. The boring white walls and nondescript furniture are enough to put anyone to sleep, but this couple wants a more calming retreat with muted colors.

David notes the things in the room he's going to work with: the big closets that can be turned into a feature wall and the dull bed that needs a headboard. He goes shopping with color assistant Danielle Hirsch for things in neutral tones, and he finds a very textured laundry basket and some burlap-look curtain sheers on which he bases his inspiration.
