An exact match for the retro wood-ball lamp in the designer room could not be found, so one was made. Halili found a modern-style vase that matches the shape of the contemporary base. A hole is drilled through the vase, and the components of the lamp are added. A new canvas lampshade tops it all off.

Tip: If you can't find the exact lamp you want, look around your house. You might be able to find just the right candlestick or vase to make your own lamp.
