The entertainment center is dressed down with scrap wood and a beachy color. First, some old wood palettes found in a construction dumpster are torn apart and made into rustic doors to cover the stereo components. Then a white liming wax is applied to the entire unit for an aged, driftwood look. The toned-down cabinet now coordinates with the new coffee tables and white fireplace wall, for a cohesive color and texture.
