The bulky sectional sofa is pulled apart and placed in different areas of the room so that it doesn’t take up so much room in any one area. The walls are painted a soft apple green to contrast all the red accent pieces in the room, such as the large metal star, which was gathering dust in the garage. An unused set of miniblinds, pulled apart and glued to a piece of plywood, forms the backing for the new star art. Beachy pebble-top tables replace the broken coffee table.
