After looking over the three design plans, the homeowners decide to use the expertise of Patti Richards. She creates an updated traditional design with a natural, easy flow between the living areas. The dining area now features a farmhouse-style table with upholstered chairs, and the seating area defined by an area rug has leather recliners and dual sofas. The new raised ceiling is highlighted by rustic tresses, and a five-layer glaze finish on the walls and ceiling adds a European flair to the space.
