James Mase and Karen White enjoy game time with their toddler and baby in the family room, but they are looking to create a living room and dining room with a unified style and a space for adult conversation. Designer Lee Snijders discovers that the main problems are a lack of seating, mismatched furniture and a lack of coherent style. The couple has a strong distaste for the dining area chandelier as well. Snijders suggests the fireplace should be the focal point as the couple wants to have this room TV-free. Greens and earth tones are their favorite, which will be the perfect colors for a cozy conversation room.
