After- Snijders visits a metal supply company in search of the perfect wrought-iron pieces to use in his custom wall accents. After making his selection, he has a professional weld the pieces together to create one wrought-iron accent for each side of the window. He creates two box frames out of 3/4" unfinished plywood and birch molding, which are stained to match the refinished dresser and side tables, and attaches the wrought-iron pieces with screws. They are then attached to the wall on either side of the long horizontal window.
