Shower Curtain
Soft textures and soothing colors in a shower curtain are always a plus in a bathroom as they bring warmth to all the hard surfaces and help reduce the hollowness of the space.

Materials and Tools:
fabric
beading
grommet kit
ring clips
iron-on adhesive (optional)
iron
Steps:
1. Determine the size needed by measuring the length and width of the bathtub or shower stall opening. A regular shower curtain requires two panels of fabric. Once they're sewn together, cut the piece down to the necessary width, leaving enough extra for side hems. Note: Cut the excess off one side so the seam between the two panels isn't directly in the center of the shower curtain.
2. Finish all four edges by folding over each edge twice; iron the fold in place, and then use a blind hem stitch or straight stitch to secure each side. Or, use iron-on seam adhesive instead.
3. The most traditional method of hanging a shower curtain is with rings through buttonholes across the header. If desired, add grommets along the header instead or simply use clip rings.
4. Make the valance using the same method as above only much shorter (the featured one is 10-3/4 inches long when complete). Turn the hems under one inch twice and sew (or use iron-on adhesive) the beads along the back of the bottom edge.
