They chose to build the master suite on the third floor to take advantage of the wonderful views. Host Joan Kohn tours the simple and elegant bed and bath for design inspiration.
- Two banks of quadruple corner windows surround the interior seating area of the bedroom.
- Furniture is kept to a minimum in the bedroom by using built-ins and a walk-in closet for clothes storage. All the furniture has the same soft whitewashed finish.
- Pale yellow walls are paired with a floral bedspread and sheer curtains for a light, airy look. Pine wood floors topped with a red area rug add warmth.
- A small hall separates the bedroom from the bath. On one side of the hall are built-ins; on the other, the walk-in-closet.
