Thrift-store sewing tables are painted brown and enhanced with shelves to serve as bedside tables.

The homeowners' dresser is updated with a coat of black paint and new drawer knobs.

A thrift-store desk is given a unique finish by sanding off a layer of the existing paint then enhancing it with a dark wood gel stain.

$100 - Window Treatment
Bamboo shades are brought it for a natural effect in the room. A valance is created out of 1x2 pine boards, hook-and-loop tape and leftover obi fabric. Pumpkin-colored crinkle fabric is used to frame both windows. More window treatment ideas>>

Sculati creates a one-of-a-kind washable bedspread using the same type of crinkle fabric found on the window treatments.

A copper swag light is hung over the chair to add light to the corner.

Leftover mdf is used to create a laptop cover for when it's not in use.

A found cornice board is refurbished and placed over the bed to hold family photos.
