The Amish make their homes smell wonderful by filling fabric bags made from scraps of homemade quilts and clothing with one ounce each of powdered cloves, nutmeg, caraway seed, cinnamon and mace. These make great gifts to hang in a closet or place in drawers because they also repel moths.
