Cloud Treatment
Materials:
lace panel (slightly longer than entire window)
electrician's cable ties or twist ties
cardboard
drapery hooks
dried or silk flowers, silk greenery , dried stalks, etc.
hot glue gun/glue
Steps:
- Hang panel on rod. Gather from the bottom to desired height and secure with cable or twist ties.
- Glue flowers and greenery to a piece of cardboard equal to rod width. Slide drapery hooks into the back about every six inches.
Quick Roman Shade
Materials:
fusible web
1 yard of fabric plus desired topper length
3 tension rods
narrow cardboard tubes
hook and loop tape
Steps:
- Secure edges of one yard of fabric with fusible web. Hang with tension rod at the top of the window casing. Place other tension rods in front of panel at desired height (about 10 inches apart). Pull fabric panel over middle rod to simulate a Roman shade. Repeat over bottom rod until satisfied with position.
- Slide tubes into folds for fullness and for weight to prevent sliding.
