When roommates Brian Coate and Brad Humpal moved into their loft six months ago, they combined their furnishings the best they could, but admit they're not very design savvy. They tore down drywall to expose a beautiful brick wall but damaged the brick and molding in the process. Plus, there's not much to divide the living area from the kitchen.

With tall ceilings, exposed brick, poor lighting and oversized furniture, the living room poses several problems. They are at a loss for design ideas in their urban Columbus loft. Student designer Natalee Orr immediately sees potential and comes up with a design that is both modern and rustic, including custom furniture, bold color choices and industrial lighting.
