Designed by Eddie Saunders, this luxurious Romanesque design exudes the Old World feel by pairing soft fabrics with hard metals. The richness and warmth of the room comes from the romantic color palette. The blend of reds, browns and oranges mixed with the wrought-iron elements gives the room a Romeo and Juliet-meets-Gladiator feel.

The Double Take team — makeover designer Michele Addey, budget shopper Halili Knox and carpenter Jamie Schmitt — put their magic to work to re-create this romantic bedroom for less than $1,900.
