Hide CaptionShow CaptionThe desk is nice and sturdy and provides a large workspace for numerous projects.
Designer Brice Cooper gives it a few updates to help it fit in with the new style of the room. He creates a keyboard drawer by sawing off the front of the drawer and reattaching it with a piano hinge that allows it to open and fold down flat with the rest of the drawer surface. A data port in the back channels the computer cables off the desktop and out of sight. Finally, he paints the desktop green to add yet another accent that coordinates with the rest of the room.
