Relaxing Bedroom Sanctuary

Kavita recently bought her first home–a roomy one-bedroom condo. Prior to buying, she had always lived in studio apartments, so she is really enjoying having a separate bedroom. What she is not enjoying is the bedroom's décor. The only furniture she has is a bed borrowed from a friend, and she really dislikes the bright blue walls. The homeowner would like to turn her new master bedroom into a sanctuary, a place where she can unwind and relax. She would like the bedroom to have a sleek, modern feel, but she'd also like the space to have a calm, Zen-like atmosphere.
