The owner is a master chef at one of Boston's most prestigious restaurants, Maison Robert. Andree Robert and her husband, Tom Burger, have made water the theme, which can be seen at every angle throughout the home. The result is a refreshing hideaway from the couple's extraordinarily busy lifestyle.
An octagonal turret forms the prominent corner of the master bedroom suite. The exterior of the space resembles a lighthouse so a light was added to enhance the character of the quarters. In the bathroom, glass block tiles form a barrier between the toilet and tub for privacy, and ceramic blue floor tiles give the room an ocean-like feel.
