Making a "kid’s corner" in your kitchen is a great way to involve your child with your activities in the kitchen as well as a convenient way to keep an eye on them while you cook. Simply by placing an eating area with kid-friendly kitchen accessories in a designated space, children can have their own special place in the kitchen. Designer Marjorie Skouras actually designed an entire children’s play kitchen (above) using materials and features that would be in a real kitchen albeit in a smaller scale and with child-safe features.

kid's toaster (Hello Kitty Pop-Up Toaster, SK-KT21P) - Sanyo
sandwich maker (Hello Kitty Sandwich Maker, HP-4363KT) - Sanyo
kid-friendly play refrigerator, countertop, chairs and play appliances - Skouras et Souer
