The galley kitchen in this Queen Anne Victorian has a comfortable, lived-in look coupled with functioning efficiency.

Architect Louis Berardino designed a half-octagonal two-story addition that is used for the breakfast nook. Moving the dining area out of the galley-style kitchen created more work space. The updated kitchen uses sturdy materials and a soft color palette to create a casual, inviting look.
